Building Project
Having made no major changes for 20 years, we needed to meet the needs & regulations of 21st Century. This meant improving access to the premises from the outside, and changes to the frontage, the indoors with a foyer and several new or improved rooms. The side entrance has become the main way into Church and Hall. Everyone will benefit, but especially disabled people and young people.

We need more and better toilets, a kitchen to use for food preparation, a small meeting room, a new hall upstairs (with lift access), improved storage throughout and in the roof space.
The final phase of the project has been to refurbish the main worship area.

Costs
The total project will have cost in the region £360,000. We have raised money from various sources, both within and outside the Methodist Church, and plaques supplied by organisations outside the Methodist Church who have helped us are on display in the foyer.

The church would like to express its gratitude to all who are giving and have given their time and money to this project.

Over the years a number of individual events have been held within the church itself to raise money. These have included:

Salvation Army Carol Concerts
December Disco
Beetle Drives
